Itinerary

Day1

10:30-11:00 arrival at Mytilene Port

After custom control, departure for day trip to the East and North Lesvos.

Following the east road route by watching the small traditional villages and beaches of the island and overlooking the fantastic sea view of the northern Aegean sea and the view of the opposite coast of western Turkey, you will get to your first stop, at the mountain village Mantamados, where are traditional houses, there is a big tradition at pottery and also the Monastery of Archangel Michael is. We will visit the Monastery of Archangel (Taxiarchis) Michael. The people of the island, they believe that the icon of Michael Archangel is miraculous!

After half hour visit, we leave for Skala Sikaminia, a picturesque fishing village across Assos. There is free time to visit the village, to go at the beach or optionally to have lunch.

We continue to Molivos, to visit the Castle and to walk to traditional streets and the market. At Molivos you can enjoy the castle, the harbor, the market in the center of the village and the architecture of the buildings that are all with rocks and wooden windows.

Check in at a 3* Hotel at Molivos – Eftalou at the beach.

The evening is free to visit Molivos leisure or shopping at the Village.

Dinner in a Greek tavern with live music (included).

Day 2

08:30 Breakfast
10:00 Departure for day tour to the west Lesvos.

First we visit Vatousa, a traditional village, for a coffee break or free time to visit the village.

Then we leave for Sigri and we visit the Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest, a geological park with the Natural History Museum.
The Petrified Forest of Lesvos is one of the most fascinating and rare monuments of geological heritage in the world. Its creation, 20.000.000 year ago is connected with the intense volcanic activity in the Aegean during the Miocene period. In 1985, the forest was declared a Protected Natural Monument.
There is free time to visit the village, to go at the castle or optionally to have lunch.

After Sigri departure for Skala Eressos. Skala Eressos is a village by the sea, at southwest of the island with a nice big sandy beach. There is free time to visit the village or to go at the beach.

We continue through the panorama road and the villages Mesotopos, Agra and Parakoila to the fisherman’s village Skala Kallonis for visiting.

Return at Molivos and there is free evening or dinner in a Greek tavern with live music (optional).

Day 3

08:00 Breakfast
09:00 Depart for day tour to the villages Agia Paraskevi, Agiassos, Plomari and Perama.

Agia Paraskevi is situated in the mountainous centre of the island of Lesvos. It is a beautiful town with spectacular old mansions. In the village is the olive oil production museum that we visit.

Agiasos is a picturesque village built on the slops of mount Olympos among lash vegetation and spring waters. The village is known for the long tradition in ceramics and wood cuts as well as the pilgrim of the miraculous icon of Virgin Mary made by Evangelist Luke.

Plomari at the South Lesvos has a long tradition in ouzo distilling and we visit the only Ouzo Museum at the Varvagiannis distillery (1860).

Optional lunch on the way to Mytilene at Perama at the Gulf of Gera.

Check in at a 3*-4* Hotel at Mytilene
Free evening or dinner in a Greek tavern (optional).

Day 4

08:30 Breakfast and Check out

Tour at the town of Mytilene with visit the castle of Mytilene, the Yeni Mosque, the Ottoman bazaar (the central market of the town) with a guide.

Mytilene is the capital of the island and has many options and attractions. The museum, castle, museum Theophilus and the theater are some of them. It is a beautiful city combines traditional elements with modern amenities. The traditional architecture of the old town, the imposing neoclassical mansions and historical monuments, specific to the city and give it a unique classy elegance in the Aegean.
In the Ermou Str. downtown, are most of the shops. The same applies to the waterfront, with its magnificent neoclassical buildings and the numerous shops and entertainment focus.

Then free time at the market.

Possibility for optional lunch at a tavern in the town close to the harbor.

According to the ferry schedule departure by boat to Ayvalik.
