Description

From Molyvos we drive with the Jeep Safari North Lesvos Tour, up to Petri where we experience a beautiful view over the plain. Through the mountain area of the north we make our first stop to admire the ancient bridge of Kremasti and of course to introduce you to the flora and fauna of Lesvos.

From there we continue to the ancient and rich village Agia Paraskevi and you will be able to see the protected nature park with many rare birds and the salt area of Kalloni.

Through a wonderful wild landscape with pine trees, great smells of herbs we drive through an amazing off road part along the riverbed/Kammeno Dassos and you will have on your way in the south nice panorama’s on the middle of the island.

Than we take with Jeep Safari North Lesvos Tour , as we reach the south/Agios Dimitrios the road which leads us to the traditional village of Agiassos. It is famous for its icon in the church from Palestina! and has many woodcarving and nice shops. While we will give you some time to stroll along the village, you can also sit down for a nice cup of Greek coffee.

Through the dark chestnut forest we pass the wonderful rock formations with beautiful colors thanks to all the minerals that are in the soil here; up to the highest peak of Profitis Ilias/Olympus ( 786) from where we stop to see the breathtaking view to all points of Lesvos!

Continuing the way through the fertile plain of Megali Limni (a former lake which is now being used as agricultural land) we will reach a total different landscape; around the bay of Kalloni; we will drive to the Pesas waterfalls and you can refresh yourself before we will get a nice traditional lunch (not included) in a fisherman’s place where even oysters are being bred.

From there we follow the way along the coastline to Polichnitos; the biggest town in this area and famous for the hottest springs in Europe; we will give you a change to dip in the sea in this area or in Vatera; the longest beach of the south!

Through beautiful different green colours we follow the coastline all the way back to Molyvos by mountain villages.

We start at 09:00 in the morning with Jeep Safari North Lesvos Tour and are back there around 19:30/20:00 in the evening. Please bring sun protection, scarf, head, towel, swim clothing, money, driver license & minimum 1 liter of water per person.
